I am the Owner and Founder of The Zebra's Piano. I have been teaching for almost two decades and have loved every minute! I graduated in music through UNISA and teaching young minds is my passion.
At our piano studio, lessons are designed to be engaging, confidence-building, and genuinely fun. I believe children learn best when they are excited to walk through the door, and when music feels like something they get to do, not something they have to do.
Each weekly lesson goes far beyond traditional piano teaching. Students receive one-on-one time at the piano to build confident music reading and strong technique, musicality and confidence, then rotate through interactive theory, sight-reading and practice stations where concepts come alive through iPad games, hands-on activities and board games. Monthly challenges, performance opportunities, awards and our prestige Grand Piano Legends Club motivate students to achieve, socialize and enjoy the journey of learning piano in a fun, engaging way.
My teaching style combines structure with creativity, excellence with encouragement. I am passionate about nurturing not only skilled pianists, but confident, disciplined, and joyful learners. Whether your child is just beginning their musical journey or already has experience at the piano, lessons are tailored to help them grow at their own pace while feeling supported every step of the way.
